Down 2.5 lbs.
Technically, I saw a decrease in my waist - maybe about another 1/2 inch, but not enough to account for.
7 more lbs till my next "Gift to Me".
My goal is to hopefully achieve this by Christmas!

My Typical Day:
As each week goes by on this meal plan, I have begun to fall into a regiment. Here it is:
In the morning when I get up:
- 2 tsp. of Barleans Omega Swirl
- 1 tsp. of Nutri Health Probiotics mixed with a few ounces of
Sobewater Lifewater (8 oz is 6 carbs - I only have about 2 oz
so it doesn't count into my numbers)
- 1 cup of hot tea mixed with one truvia and 2 tsp. of
Benefiber and a splash of lemon juice (I used to put milk in
my tea)
- 8 ounces of Green Shake (or as my BFC friends call it - "Bug
Juice")
Breakfast - (about an hr after I have the stuff above) 5/2
count
Midmorning snack - a handful of peanuts 4 gr. carbs/
1 gr.sugar = 1/0
Lunch - 5/2 count
Dinner - 5/2 count
In the evening:
- Another glass of "Bug Juice"
- 1 cup of hot tea mixed with one truvia and 2 tsp. of
Benefiber and a splash of lemon juice (some people say that
tea (caffeine) before bed keeps them up, but it doesn't bother
me - I enjoy it.)
And, I've got to say, I am enjoying every step :)

How I am getting my family on the plan and they don't even know it...
1. Every morning my daughter takes a powdered medicine and I mix it with OJ. I can't eliminate the juice yet - (baby steps), but I bought the 50% less sugar OJ and add a little Truvia.
2. Anything that asks for milk, I have substituted Almond Breeze. She hasn't caught on and actually complimented my pancakes as tasing "the BEST ever". So far I have done this with mashed potatoes, pancakes and scrambled eggs.
3. I used to order her snacks for school recess (which included OJ). I eliminated the juice and she now brings a cool thermos that has her name on it filled with filtered water.

- Aunt Jemima Buttermilk Pancakes (instead of milk I sub almond breeze) - 23 gr. carb, 4 gr. sugar for 3 4" pancakes. I add sugar free maple syrup from Probst Farms (on Jorge's list)
- Barlean's Kid's Omega Swirl - check out Barlean's website - they have a bunch of kids items and my picky 6 yr. old is loving it right along with me!
- Bob's Red Mill Steel Cut Oats - 27 gr. carb, 0 sugar and 4 gr. fiber. - Shop Rite
- Boca Burger (Veggie Burger) - 6 gr. carb, 4 gr. fiber, 0 gr. sugar
- Don Pepino Pizza Sauce - 4 gr. carb, 2 gr. sugar - ACME
- Monte Bene Pasta Sauce - 2gr. carbs, 3gr. sugar - bought at Whole Foods
- Ortega Black Beans - 19gr. carb. 1 gr. sugar - 7 grams of fiber - bought at Target
- Pepperidge Fram Deli Flats - 7 grain - 19gr. carb, 3 gr. sugar, 5 gr. fiber for 1 roll - I like this better than any english muffin style
- Rexall Cold-milled Organic Flax Seed Powder - 4 gr. carb, 0 sugar and 4 gr. fiber
- Tortilla (soft taco size) - Mayan Farms Tradional Recipe Low Carb Tortilla (16 g. Carb, 0 g. Sugar, 10g. Fiber) - bought at Shop Rite - LOOK AT THE FIBER COUNT!
